Terms of Service

The rules for using SiteRefactor, and what you can and cannot rely on in an analysis report.

Last updated 2026-11-03

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the SiteRefactor website and service, operated by GACODE Adrian Wolf, Wrocław, Poland ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

SiteRefactor analyzes a publicly accessible website and produces a report that may include:

  • technologies detected from public signals;
  • performance results from Google PageSpeed Insights;
  • SEO basics, page structure and passive security checks;
  • migration options with indicative cost, effort and timeline ranges;
  • a do-it-yourself roadmap and the option to request a professional quote.

The analysis relies only on publicly available information and inspects a limited number of pages. It cannot see functionality behind logins, admin workflows or private integrations, and detection based on public signals can be incomplete or wrong.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to attack, overload or disrupt any website, or to probe it for vulnerabilities;
  • circumvent rate limits, robots.txt handling or other technical restrictions of the service;
  • submit large volumes of analyses through automated means without our written permission;
  • attempt to access data or reports you are not entitled to, or to reverse engineer or copy the service at scale;
  • submit unlawful content, or personal data of others that is not needed for your request;
  • use the service or its reports in a way that misrepresents the analysis as an audit, certification or binding offer.

We may refuse, limit or stop analyses, for example where a website opts out of our crawler, where requests appear abusive, or to protect the service and the websites it analyzes.

Estimates are not quotes

Cost, effort and timeline figures are indicative planning ranges, calculated with deterministic formulas from measured inputs and configurable planning assumptions such as hourly rates. They are not quotes, not offers, and not verified market prices. In particular:

  • they are not binding on us or on any service provider;
  • actual prices depend on a provider's rates, a detailed scope and information that a public analysis cannot see;
  • results based on incomplete data are labeled "preliminary" and are less reliable;
  • recommendations are general information, not professional, legal or financial advice.

We do not guarantee any outcome from following a recommendation, including improvements in performance, search rankings, traffic or revenue. Decisions you make based on a report are your own.

Reports and links

Each report has an unguessable link. Anyone who has the link can view the report, so share it only with people you want to see it. Reports are excluded from search engines and are deleted after the retention period described in the Privacy Policy (90 days by default). You may use reports for your own internal purposes and share them with colleagues, advisers and potential service providers.

Quote and DIY-plan requests

Submitting a quote or DIY-plan request does not create a contract for services. Any engagement for migration or development work is subject to a separate written agreement. Requests are handled by us directly; we do not pass them on to other companies without your permission. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.

AI-generated explanations

Where enabled, some explanatory text in a report may be generated by an AI model from derived analysis facts. Such text can contain mistakes. The calculated figures and the underlying findings in the report take precedence over any AI-generated wording.

Intellectual property

The service, its software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use reports as described above, these terms do not grant you any rights in them. WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Next.js and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners; references to them are for identification only and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Availability and changes

The analysis is currently free of charge. If we introduce paid features, we will describe them and their terms before you can buy them. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Analyses depend on third-party services such as Google PageSpeed Insights and on the analyzed website being reachable, so results may be unavailable or partial.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms; for material changes we will give reasonable notice on this website.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service and reports are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities arising from the use of the service or reliance on a report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office in Wrocław, Poland. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence or your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings there.
